HOW DOES IT WORK?
As we age, our facial skin may start to sag and wrinkle due to the breakdown of collagen and elastin fibers. Using a long needle, FTC threads are inserted into precise locations underneath the skin where hair-like barbs of the threads grasp onto soft tissues. Once in position, the thread opens like an umbrella to form a support structure that gently lifts and tightens loose areas of the face. The end of each thread is cut and knotted, retracting deep under the skin leaving no visible sign of treatment.
RESULTS & RECOVERY
You will see immediate results with a visible lift in the targeted areas following the treatment. The tightness of your face will continue to improve over a period of 2-6 months as new collagen grows between the threads. The threads will gradually dissolve over about 6 months, but the resulting lift from the collagen will remain.
Following treatment, you may notice bruising and slight swelling for a few days. Recovery is quick and you can return to your regular routine the following day. Facial movement may be limited for the first two weeks, and it can be uncomfortable to laugh or smile.
